Description
The Pottery Experience Day will allow you to create your own tableware set! Make a cup, small plate & bowl. The workshop begins with a demonstration of throwing on the potters wheel & hand building techniques including pinch & slab. We will look at how to make spouts and attach handles. You’ll also learn a range of surface decoration methods. Your time will be split between practice on the potters wheel, and making by hand. At the end of the class you will be able to decorate your wares with colourful underglaze to finish. Your pottery will then be glazed and fired, ready for collection 6 weeks later (or delivery for P&P costs).
Class sizes are small and friendly, and Imogen will be on hand to offer support throughout. Complimentary refreshments included.

The price (of £90) per person includes tuition, materials & kiln firing. You can expect to make one of each item (cup, plate, bowl) Additional pots can be fired at a cost of £5 payable on the day
