1) TERMS

The placing of an order constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement. All reservations are made through the online booking system. A maximum of two places can be reserved per workshop. If you’d like to book more than two places, you will need to book seperately. Please note; If a class needs to be postponed you may not be able to all attend the same alternative date. Alternatively you’re encouraged to book private group tution.

2) CHANGES TO BOOKING

Changes to reservations can be made up to 30 days before your class, please email your request. An admin fee of £10 is applicable. Re-scheduled class must be taken within 6 months of original booking. A reservation can only be transferred once, with further request to transfer being treated as a cancellation. Alternatively, you can be refunded minus a £25 administration fee.

If there are less than 30 days to your class then your reservation is non-refundable and non transferableA booking can only be transferred if it falls outside of the 30 days, irrespective of the circumstances. However you are welcome to transfer your place to a friend or family member.

3) PRIVATE TUITION

All reservation deposits for private group bookings including parties are non-refundable and non transferable. The 30 day notification period applies to rescheduling of bookings, whatever the reason. Balance payments must be made no less than 14 days before the booking date by bank transfer. Details will be sent in your confirmation email.

4) AGE RESTRICTIONS

Please check suitability when booking your class. Adults classes are for ages 16 years and over. Kids Clay Time is for children aged 4 to 15 years. Family group bookings are for two adults & two children (4 to 15 years). If you are unsure just get in touch before you book

5) CLASS POSTPONMENT

If for any reason your class needs to be postponed, Imogen will aim to give you advance notice and will offer you an alternative date or a full refund. If you have booked on a workshop with more than one other attendee, it may not be possible to reschedule you all onto the same future session. Imogen cannot accept liability for travel, accommodation or other costs.

6) YOUR HEALTH

If you have any specific requirements around accessibility or additional support due to health, please get in touch prior to booking your class so we can discuss your needs and make arrangements. Please note that due to the physical requirements of some classes, certain activities may not be possible.

7) WHAT TO WEAR

Please dress for mess and comfort! Bring an apron and hand towel. Flat shoes with closed toes recommended. Short nails are also advisable, and long hair needs to be tied back.

8) COLLECTION OF POTTERY

It takes 6-8 weeks from the date of the class for creations to be fired and glazed. Once you have been notified by email, please aim to collect promptly. Pottery is kept for 6 weeks from date of notification, and it’s your responsibility to contact the studio to arrange collection within that time. Visit Pottery Collection page for more details.

Please note that due to the handmade nature of your creations, small imperfections are part of the process. On occasion, pots may crack,break or warp in the kiln firing process, and glazes vary. No refunds are offered from your original workshop booking or for additional pots paid for on the day.

10) GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Vouchers can be redeemed towards any workshop at Moon Studio Ceramics as part of full payment. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase date. An experience must be undertaken before the expiry date. Once expired, vouchers are no longer valid. Vouchers cannot be split, unless booking multiple classes at the same time. All bookings are subject to availability so places on specific courses are not guaranteed. Fullfilment: if scheduled classes are fully booked, you’ll be offered the next available date. Classes, schedules and prices are subject to change. No cash alternative or refunds offered. Gift vouchers are transferable, so if you are unable to make your class or course, please get in touch to discuss an alternative (subject to cancellation policies).

11) YOUR DATA

Your email will be added to the mailing list, for occasional updates about classes & events. You are welcome to unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email. Please note if you opt out of the mailing list, this will not remove personal data provided during your booking.

Your details will not be passed on to third parties. In line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), any personal data collected from you, or that you share, will be processed and stored securely online, You have the right to request any personal information held about you. By law this information about customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) must be held for six years after they cease being customers for tax purposes. After this time, it will be securely deleted. 

13) PHOTOGRAPHY

Photos may be taken during the workshop for promotion / social media. If you’d prefer not to have pictures taken please do let me know.
